The primary focus of this week's lab was data collection and projections. The data collection portion was very interesting, it was surprising how difficult and frustrating it can be to take data points in the field, but the ESRI online ArcMap program made inputting the data and transferring it to a map very simple. The projection section was surprisingly simple, as using geoprocessing tools to complete these functions is something I have struggled with in the past. I was pleasantly surprised with how simple it was to convert maps into other projections in ArcGIS Pro, but I assume that in future labs it will become more complex.
