For this week's blog we reviewed remote sensing and identifying images from above based on information on image interpretation. In the first part of the lab we reviewed an image based on the tone and texture, created a scale of both for the image, and created polygons based on each. In the second we identified different features based on the association, pattern, shadows and shape/size of different features. This part of the lab was the most interesting, and I learned quickly how shadows and association can make it much clearer what different objects within an image are.
