Module 3: Terrain Visualization

 For this specific layout, I began by choosing appropriate colors for the different land cover types. This included correctly coloring water blue, as well as forested areas in different shades of greens, yellows, and oranges to differentiate the landcover types to the most accurate representation possible. I then added the transparent hillshade on top of the image, and used the stock hillshade as background for the map extent, with visual hierarchy established with the colors in the focus area. I centered the title over the map, and included the additional map elements at the bottom, as the map itself was the proper size to take up the primary visual focus of the layout.
