My linear and adjusted color ramps are not as dramatic as the ColorBrewer option. The ColorBrewer ramps have a significant variance in the size of jumps for each red, green, and blue. These jumps do not follow any specific rule, and tend to introduce a different set of hues in the color ramp. The lighter colors have a great deal bluer, while the darker colors are much closer to the shade I began the adjusted and linear progression with.
