For this week's lab we analyzed the accuracy of two separate street maps by referencing them to satellite imagery. To do this, XY coordinates were taken at the intersections of both the reference maps and the satellite imagery. The distances between the references and map overlays were determined, and summary statistics helped determine the accuracy of both types of road overlays. StreetMap was tested with 491.3m horizontal accuracy with
95% confidence level. City was tested with 18m horizontal accuracy with 95%
confidence level.
