For the second lab, we focused on creating a layout and understanding essential map elements for creating effective outputs during future projects. This lab was particularly interesting to me because it focused on aesthetics when creating layouts, which I had previously not focused on in GIS courses during my undergraduate degree. I can remember some particularly poorly color coordinated maps that I have turned in or used on research projects in the past, and I am glad to be able to focus on the output from an aesthetic perspective now. This lab did cover things I have done previously in other ESRI software, and it is not difficult to apply my background knowledge to ArcGIS Pro. Overall I am very pleased with how my map turned out.
