This week's lab was focused on outlining ways to input data into ArcGIS Pro when it has been collected from outside sources and input into Excel. In the first part of the lab we used longitude and latitude information for points to input them into the map, and in the second part we used the geocoding tool to input the information via address locations into a layer that contained street information. In a previous internship I struggled with inputting simple point information I collected in the field on research sites. I was pleasantly surprised to find how simple it is in ArcGIS Pro to transfer and use information input into an Excel document to create shape files.
